Support the development of training resources, including new courses and course modules/units, learning and assessment resources and reference materials and where appropriate, the effective dissemination of such materials.
Support activities and events that foster an awareness of new developments in the fibre and textile industry and associated industries, encourage innovation and promote workforce and skills development and support cooperation between organisations, higher education institutions and other organisations engaged in the development and commercialisation of new fibre and textile products and applications.
Priority will be given to organisations that are actively seeking to strengthen and grow their business through product innovation and/or process improvement including the sustainability of their operations through reduced energy and water use, waste minimisation and lifecycle management systems and processes.
Promote a more stategic approach to training that links training directly to the achievement of company performance objectives by network partnerships of TAFE and enterprises.
